What colors are most popular for Flower Girl Dresses?

Without a doubt - it’s white and ivory, corresponding with the color of the Bride’s gown.

It is VERY popular to then accent the dresses with color to coordinate with the Brides Maids.  And nobody does it better than US Angels!  (They’re the not only ones of course, we have many!)

If you have older girls who want a more “grown up” look, select from the more “A-line” styles that will make them much happier; and as you can see, some come in sizes to include your tiniest flower girls too!

Or, go with the classic, traditional ballgown styles like you see on the right here. 

If you have a wide range of ages, by sticking to the same designer (same prefix in the style #s), you can coordinate styles!

But don’t let white and ivory limit you.  There is a world of choices out there!

We go to great lengths to give you the best estimation.  When you click on a special order style, be sure to scroll down!  Why?  Because we give you all the information that we have right there at your finger tips - an actual approximate date.

Can it delivery sooner?  Yes, certainly.  Can we accept an order requesting/expecting it earlier?  No, we cannot.  Might it take a bit longer?  Yes, it can.  The later in the Spring season - the more likely that will be.

Many of our customers order the whole outfit - great!  This can result with many different availability dates.  For instance, a special order dress may take two months while the gloves, purse and headpiece may only take 2-3 weeks.  Will those items arrive sooner?

No.  We package and ship your entire order together.  That means that everything will have to be here before your order ships.

So, if you want/need some items sooner than others - just place separate orders.  That’s all there is to it!

Then the items that arrive sooner will ship right out and not wait for the other items being made for you.

We get this question quite a bit:

“Do you have Christening suits for boys age 18M (or 24M or 3T)?”

The answer?  ABSOLUTELY!

The thing is - they may not be “called” Christening suits in those sizes, that’s all.

So where do you look?

In our Boys’ Suits & Tuxedos Boutique is the best place. Start there, then look through the various departments for just the right look you want to see.

It’s highly unlikely that you’ll find a style that is made in size 3M, 6M or 9M specifically for Christening is also available in the largers sizes (18M and up).  But that’s not always the case . . . .

Nor does it mean that you can’t find something absolutely wonderful for your little guy’s Christening suit - you just have to look outside the typical departments.

You might find it in Baby Suits - Informal Suits - Eton Suits - or even Tuxedos!

Many of these are available in all white.  But with boys — a little color is always welcome.  Blues are VERY popular, for instance, and so are sailor suits (always)!

Terrific little suits have arrived for:

• Easter
• Ring Bearers
• Christening

You’ll see them all in our Newest Additions Department as well as the corresponding various departments in our Boys Suits & Tuxedos Boutique.

Some of the choices include classic Eton Suits (the little shorts suits with lapel-less jackets) in colors for Spring/Summer — and sailor suits too, of course!

These colors will only be available for a short time; sizes and whole colors will disappear as the Spring season arrives.  Once they’re gone - they’re gone for the year.

Why do I say that?  Well, if you’re a Bride needing Ring Bearer suits - NOW is the time to get them on order.

If you’re looking for these for Easter, yes, NOW is the time to get them on order.

Many wait until the last minute and then are disappointed to find that what they want is no longer available.  We see it every year!  We don’t want you to be one of them.

So please - I can’t say it enough - get your order in early!

First Communion dress shopping has definitely started!

Kudos to our early birds - they are assured of getting exactly the style and size they want and delivered in plenty of time to avoid nervous frustration!

One Communion dress I really want to spotlight today is ALG-DR1120.  This dress is elaborate and gorgeous.  We put this in the “Traditional Communion Dresses” department.  It is the PERFECT dress for some . . . but it definitely is not for everybody. 

Why do I spotlight it right now?

Because this gorgeous cutwork satin gown sells out quickly and, once it’s gone - it’s gone for the rest of the year.  Why?  Once they use up the fabric that was ordered (it takes lots of time to get that fabric made), they just plain can’t make any more.

So if you like traditional, “little bride” and/or elaborate white dresses - be sure to check out Communion dress #ALG-DR1120 as soon as possible!

Ok, we’re in the middle of a deep freeze around here.  It was -5 degrees this morning!

Where have we been?  Why so few posts?

Well, it’s because our writer (me) fell and broke her ankle last weekend.

Yes, the weather here has been treacherous. Yes, I was out in it. No, that’s now how I got hurt!  Nope - I was out in that most of the day and got home safe and sound just to fall down a step once I was home.  Sure do feel stupid.

I’m back here part of the day now hobbling around on crutches.  I have to - because so much here is happening!

When does shopping begin for First Communion dresses, veils, accessories - or suits for the boys?

ANSWER:  Right now!

Yes, that’s right - shopping for First Communion has begun.

New styles will be arriving in a HUGE array very shortly.

Why shop so soon? It’s simple - you will have the biggest selection of communion dresses and communion suits available anywhere.  Communion veils & headpieces, too.

As the season progresses, you will have less and less selection.

What else?

Timing.  Get it early and relax.  It’s done.  You have it in plenty of time for his/her First Communion - for portraits, etc.

Wait, and you will be worried and anxious about getting it on time.

What’s more - the later you order, the longer it will take.  Why? Because it takes longer and longer to fill an order during the peak of the biggest season of the year (it’s also Flower Girl Dresses season).
